THE STORY...
One day a few friends and I were talking about something we have been praying for for a long while and one said something like “I don’t care how God provides it…by people, by the city or by a seagull dropping it from the sky.” That last phrase really caught my attention “by a seagull dropping it from the sky”…I thought immediately back to something that Hudson Taylor said about his own circumstances during is preparation to go serve in China. Someone had asked him what he would do if the funds he so badly needed did not come in - and he boldly answered “Are there no ravens in China?” referring to the times God used a ravens to bring food to the prophet Elijah.
//
The point is this, sometimes God provides for our needs in ways that we do not expect. Now, I don’t know if there are ravens in Estonia but I do know there is no shortage of seagulls and I’m certain that he commands them in the same way.

“Bear not a single care thyself, one is too much for thee; the work is mine, and mine alone; thy work - to rest in me” -Hudson Taylor
